The father-daughter team of Dennis Higginbotham and Trudy Higginbotham-Moody purchased their dealership in March of 2001 from the Blackwell family. Since that time they have dedicated themselves to making Mercedes-Benz of Jackson the premier automobile dealership in Jackson, Mississippi. We have just completed a total remodel of the original dealership and have also built a brand new facility for smart one block down. Please take the time to stop in and tour both of our new modern facilities.
Dennis Higginbotham is a resident of Central Florida and owns dealerships in both Mississippi and South Carolina. He is the son of a policeman and grew up in Birmingham, AL. Dennis started working for the local Chevy dealer as a lot porter and worked his way up through the company. He worked for General Motors after graduating from Auburn University and then purchased his first dealership in 1976. In his downtime he enjoys spending time with his family and golfing. Dennis is also a collector of classic cars.
Trudy Higginbotham-Moody grew up in the car business and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She and her family fell in love with the area and moved to Jackson in 2004 so Trudy could be at the dealership every day. Trudy is an avid animal lover and is very active in several organizations in our community. She and her husband, Ed Moody, spend their time with their children, horses, and bird dogs.
